my first stop was Campeche Mexico, the spot of one of the mayan empire's biggest cities thousands of years ago. the people there were very friendly. and after a good nights sleep we headed out bright and early to see the mayan ruins. the ruins were amazing. massive pyramids and temples stretch all across the rainforest. it's crazy to think that 3000 years ago this was a massive empire one of the biggest the worlds ever seen. After seeing the ruins in Campeche i made my way east across the peninsula to see the ruins that remain in Quintana Roo Mexico. There we went and saw the mayan ruins in Tulum which are right on the carribean coast. they were not quite as big as the ruins in Campeche but none the less were still amazing and provided a great view of the sea. so that was mexico next stop Brazil.
